Connect tectonic plates to Claude or ChatGPT
tectonic plates has a connector, so you can plan and log training by asking for it. Write a whole block in conversation, have it land in the app ready to lift, and tick sets off on your phone at the rack.
Add it in one click
Opens Claude’s add-connector dialog with the address already filled in. If you are not signed in to Claude it will ask you to, then bring you back here.
Add to ClaudeIt is free while the app is in beta, and you will not be asked for a card to connect it.
Adding it by hand instead, in Claude or in ChatGPT? The address is

What it can do
It writes training, not just records it. You can ask for a whole block — weeks, the days in each week, the lifts in each day, how each one progresses, which weeks deload — and then ask for a week of it to be written into real sessions. The warmup ramps are worked out for you, and every weight is rounded to something your own rack can actually load, from the bar and plates you list on the settings page.
It reads training too: what you lifted and when, what a movement’s history implies about your current max, how long you typically rest between sets, and how a block is going against what it asked for. Asking “how did Monday go” or “what should bench open at next block” is a question it can answer from your own numbers.
And it logs: a set, a session, a correction to either. Sets you log in conversation and sets you tap off on the session screen are the same rows, so a session started one way can be finished the other.
What it will not do
- It never reaches another account. Every tool acts only on the account that authorised it, and there is no tool that can name a different one.
- It will not quietly overwrite training you have already logged. Changing the weight or reps of a set you marked as lifted has to be confirmed, and changing which movement such a set was is refused outright — that is a different set, not an edited one.
- It does not decide anything for you. The app measures and reports; how long to rest, what to open a block at, and whether a session was any good are judgements, and they stay with you and whoever you are talking to.
- It cannot read your email, your files, or anything else. It reaches this app and nothing else, over one address.
Turning it off
Authorisation is per account and revocable at any time from your connections page. Revoking takes effect immediately: the token stops working on the next call, and nothing you have already logged is touched.
What is stored
Your email address, so you can sign in, and your training: workouts, sets, the movements you do them on, the blocks you write, the plates you own, and your time zone. That is the whole of it. There is no bodyweight, no measurements, no photographs and no health data of any other kind.
When an assistant writes a row, the row records that it did — so a set you can’t account for says where it came from. Every write through the connector is kept in your own account’s audit trail, with what was sent, so you can see exactly what was done on your behalf. It stays in this app’s database.
If something breaks, the crash report that goes to our error monitoring carries the names of the fields involved and never their values, and never your email address.
